Registration
Anyone can browse our web sites – www.uniqhome.co.za. Before one can purchase, we request the purchaser to register with us. If you are a member of the public a simple and easy to use registration form is completed and submitted to the web site.
Making a Purchase
To purchase any of the merchandise available from UNIQ Lights and Home, browse our shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the Shopping Cart using the Add to Cart button.
All prices indicated on the website are INCLUSIVE OF VAT. After you have finished your selection, click the Checkout button, and you will be asked for a few details in order that we are able to satisfy the order. For all orders that are less than R2,500.00 (VAT inclusive) a delivery charge of R200.00 is automatically added to the goods purchased.
If the value of goods purchased, are in excess of R2,500.00 (Vat inclusive) then delivery is free anywhere within South Africa.
For all deliveries outside of South Africa, please contact sales@uniqhome.co.za to determine courier costs. Once you have checked out, you will be directed to the www.paygate.co.za website for secure and hassle free payment of the goods purchased. The site accepts credit card payments. If you are shopping from outside of the Republic of South Africa or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency.

Shipping and Handling
We offer free delivery within SA for sales in excess of R2,500.00 with hassle free returns. Where delivery charges are required and you are buying from a country outside RSA we will contact you directly to discuss courier charges.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to despatch orders within 7 days of your order being placed, providing all items are in stock. We do not send out packages or courier items on Saturdays or Sundays or public holidays. At all times we will endeavour to send your chosen merchandise to you as quickly as possible.
Back Orders
Due to the popularity of some products or services, UNIQ Lights and Home may not always have products or services ordered by you in stock. If the products and services ordered by you are not available or only a portion is available, you may cancel the order, or re-order the quantity that is available, or place a backorder, or get a refund. Once the products or services become available, it will be shipped to you. Back orders will not be kept for over 6 weeks.
Custom-Made Orders
Please note delivery time max 60 days.
Returns / Refunds
You are welcome to return or exchange your order within 7 days of the date of delivery in its original packaging and condition. Once we are satisfied of the condition of the item, you will be refunded via your original method of payment or have the option to exchange your item.
Exchanges are only allowed for the exact same item (i.e. same item in another colour or print) and/or an item of the exact same value. If you would like an item of a different value from the store, you will have to purchase this separately or wait until you have been refunded.
Unfortunately we do not accept returns of sale items.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Any shipping fees associated with making returns are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.
If your product is damaged in any way on delivery, please notify us and send us images as proof within 7 days of delivery on sales@uniqhome.co.za so we may correct this as soon as possible.
No returns will be accepted for any products that is not sufficiently packaged, regardless the reason for return.
Please note that certain items in our store are custom made and non-refundable. You will see these applicable products on the specific products’ listing page(s).
UNIQ Lights and Home does not offer any returns on international shipments.
Please note that should you use your own third party shipping company to further transport any product(s) already delivered to you by us to another address in South Africa or abroad, we are no longer responsible for any damages even if you notify us within the 7 days return policy unless you informed us of such damages BEFORE passing on the products to your courier company.
Therefore when using any third party shipping company or courier to further transport any product(s) abroad or in South Africa, all products MUST be checked for any damages once delivered by UNIQ Lights and Home before handing over to your third party courier in order for us to assist you with any exchanges or refunds.
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for UNIQ Lights and Home via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by UNIQ Lights and Home separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Customer Privacy policy
UNIQ Lights and Home shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Responsibility
UNIQ Lights and Home takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and UNIQ Lights and Home chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
UNIQ Lights and Home may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
